Happy 5 Months to Lucy!

Lucy had a great 5th month! Not only is she growing well, but she is also learning so much. This month Lucy really conquered rolling over both ways, sitting up assisted (or tripod sitting), cooing, and laughing at her big sisters. She loves to "talk" and is testing lots of different volumes with her voice. She can even be louder than her big sisters! Lucy loves to watch her sisters and always has an eye on them. She likes to be right there with them and loves to ride in the Baby Bjorn so she can keep up with them at the park or on a walk. Lucy has a super cute laid back personality (finally - we got a laid back kid…..for now). She truly enjoys sitting back and watching the family or laying on her quilts playing with her toys. She has become a pretty easy baby (I am knocking on a huge block of wood!). 

Lucy tried solid food this month for the first time and is sort of getting the hang of it. She has just had oatmeal for now and Jordan and Peyton have been doing most of the feeding. They fight over who gets to give her the first bite. Lucy is just excited to finally get her own seat at the kitchen table!

then Peyton heard us and joined in the picture too! Everyone is excited Lucy is 5 months!

Suns a little bright - Lucy needs some sun glasses :)  Just enjoying the morning in the hammock swing on the dock. Can't get much better than that.
