Fudges in Cincinnati

The Fudge Family came to Cincinnati for a few days before heading to the lake. We were all so excited because they have never really been here in the summer to play so we immediately had a huge list of things to do with them. The first on the list was throw a surprise party for Bebop's 60th birthday with a few of her close friends. Then a big sleepover in Jordan's bed, going to some parks and going to Disney Jr. Live were also on the list. We had a fun few days together!

Happy Birthday Mom!

While the Mommies were celebrating this was the scene at our house. Doesn't look like too much sleeping was going on at this sleepover. It took until 10:30, but finally all 4 big kids went to sleep in Jordan's bed. 

The big kids got to have a sleep over and Uncle Jason stayed home from work to make the kids waffles in the morning - some of them are still a little sleepy :)

For Bebop's party with the kids, we made mud balls which is an old favorite from Long Lake in MN. The kids loved getting this fancy treat and getting blow out their own candle.

Jordan and Peyton love our latest discovery this year - the Cincinnati Nature Center and wanted Griffin and Grace to see it to. They picked up their backpacks and nets and immediately went to the pond to hunt for frogs and tadpoles. 

Jordan LOVES to hunt for wild life and immediately caught 2 tadpoles. She was so excited.

These kids could play with this stick house for hours. They gathered sticks to add to the roof, played house, made pretend campfires. They worked so hard and had a ton of fun - we just enjoyed being in a shady spot for a while. 

Aunt B and Uncle Josh had a wedding to go to so the rest of us went to Disney Jr. Live! It was a pretty fun show and all of the kids did really well……ok - all  of the snacks helped :)

After the show, we walked down and played in the water fountains. The kids were all shocked that we were allowing them to run right in with their clothes on. Guess who was first??? Jordan of course! She didn't even second guess the adult decision. Once the others realized Jordan wasn't getting in trouble they all ran right in too.
