Introducing Jordan Marie Finck

We are so excited to introduce everyone to Jordan Marie Finck born at 10:56 am on January 14, 2009 tipping the scales at 6 lbs. 5 oz. and measuring a lanky 20 inches.  She has a little bit of hair (like her dad) and is a perfect little girl.  We named her after Brooke's maiden name and her middle name comes from our 2 grandmothers Mary Katherine Viel (AKA Toots) and Mary Francis Almquist (AKA Gabby).  Mary did not sound right with the first name so we made a minor modification to Marie.

JMF initials meet all pre-school and grade school playground requirements so she will not get teased and no one can argue with being named after the greatest basketball player of all time.  :-)

We are so excited to have her in our family and we can't remember what life was like without her. We are going home from the hospital tomorrow and will introduce her to her sister Maggie who can't wait for table scraps to fall from her high chair.

We will keep you posted on our life with Jordan, but we already know it will bet the adventure of a lifetime and a lot less sleep.
