Jordan is now an Evendale Eagle! She started on the swim team this summer at the age of 5 and is already loving it. She has been a water bug since birth so we aren't surprised that she seems to like it so much. She had her first meet last week and did awesome! She swam 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards backstroke. We are so proud of our little swimmer just for making it from one end to the other, but she was proud of herself for "touching the wall first" on backstroke. It was pretty cute.
She was telling PopPop about the race on the phone the next day and he asked if she was nervous. Jordan replied, "well I was nervous on the block and then I just told myself I can do this!" and she did it!

| Hanging out before her race |

| Sitting pretty in her swim cap. It was hot out but she refused to take the cap off the entire night. |

| Here she comes! |
| She did it! 47.82. She hopped out of the pool and said, "Look I didn't even get my hair wet!" |
| If you swim your first lap in a meet, you make the Hershey Lapper club and earn this HUGE Hershey bar. Jordan and Peyton were both pretty pumped about this. |
| Getting a little pep talk from her coach before backstroke |
| Smiling the entire way down the lap. She loved it |
| Mamaw and Bixie Boy came to cheer on Jordan. She had quite the fan club for her first swim! |
