For the past 2 months Daddy, PopPop and Bix have been spending their weekends and some evenings finishing our basement so Peyton and I have a big playroom. They have been framing, painting (doors, walls, ceilings, trim - you name it, they painted it), installing door knobs, slides and climbing walls and putting all of the finishing touches on our playroom. BeBop had the final touch on our 2 story castle and turned it into a real castle with stone, the Finck emblem and even our entire Kingdom!

The second floor even has a trap door in the ceiling that leads to our playroom upstairs. How cool is that? Our very own secret passage way! Didn't Daddy do a good job designing this?
A HUGE thanks to Daddy, PopPop, Bix and BeBop for all of their hard work. There is a lot more to the basement than just this castle (workout room, bathroom and a big open area with laminate floor that Daddy hopes to take over some day with a bar) as well as adding on another bathroom and closet upstairs. So much work but it all turned out great! We are so excited to start living in this space! Peyton and I already BEG to go to the basement each day. It is pretty hard to get us to leave.
