Hilton Head 2012

We just got back from another amazing year in Hilton Head. The weather was beautiful and warm and there weren't many people there so we had the beach all to ourselves! We swam in the ocean and the pool, built sandcastles, flew kites, rode our bikes and found sand dollars. We even saw dolphins, alligators, and pelicans. What a wonderful trip. Here are just a few pictures (ok - there are a ton of pictures - but there were so many good ones it was hard to decide what to share). Thanks so much to Memaw and Bix for an wonderful vacation!

Jordan's first sighting of the ocean this year....ran straight in - with her clothes on! 

Peyton's first sighting of the beach and ocean this year (last year she was only 4 months old so this was really her first visit to the beach). She walked around with a huge smile and her hands held up like this the whole time.

Morning walk on the beach led to Jordan swimming in her PJ's. You would think we would learn and always have a swim suit on her. 

Jordan and Daddy had so much fun going way out in to the ocean to find sand dollars.  Jordan was very brave and dug around with her feet to help find them.

Evening bike ride to watch the dolphins swim! They were so close and playing in the waves. Such a cool experience.

Nothing is more fun than flying kites on the beach! (especially when it is a princess kite)

We found a cool crab. Daddy had to keep his eye on it so it didn't pinch our toes.

Peyton loves all animals....even deer! This is Callie the deer. She lives at the stables in Sea Pines. 

She is obviously really afraid of people :)

Peyton just loved the horses. She could have pet this horse all day long.

Wish we could say the same for Jordan. She couldn't wait to ride the horse until she got on it.

This is Jordan's special Christmas ornament. It is just beautiful and has an "amazing" mermaid inside it just like the ones she saw in the ocean :)
