Jordan is 1 month old and it is fitting that she turned 1/12th of a year on Valentines Day as she is the love of our lives. Jordan now weights in at a whopping 8 lbs and 8 oz, she has gained over 35 oz since the week after her birth. She is now sucking down bottles the way daddy used to suck down beers in college. (Just Kidding). Jordan also took her first bath in the big girl bath, and loved it. She really loves the water and Brooke thinks we can have her in the tube behind the boat next summer.
We finally got some nice weather the last 2 weeks so Brooke and Jordan got to go on many long walks around town. Jordan has become quite the socialite and now has 4 good friends that are around the same age. They go on long walks, have lunch dates, and sometimes even go to baby Yoga. We are not sure she knows about these friends because she usually sleeps through the activities. Maggie is much happier now because she gets to tag along on these little jaunts.
Jordan sleeps longer and longer each night and even made it up 6 hours of sleep once this week. We also think she is hitting a growth spurt, she is eating very often and eating a lot more than she has in the past. That is just fine by Brooke and I because the more she eats the longer she sleeps. Jordan is even more attentive, this morning she stared at the elephant ballerina in her nursery for about 15 minutes. Jason tried to tell her all about elephants but ran out of things to say pretty quickly. Based on her interest we are going to have to learn a lot more about Pachyderms.
