Well, I am a little behind with these posts. Luckily, Finn does some pretty big things each month so it makes it easy to remember when he is doing what. At 8 Months, Finn is as happy as can be. He has a huge grin all the time. It is seriously so sweet. His big development at 8 months was that he started cruising around the couch and coffee table. He also started standing for a brief moment without hanging onto anything. He will let go, get a little nervous and then plop down on his rear end. He has 6 teeth (4 on the top and 2 on the bottom) and loves to eat! He loves his puffs and hasn't turned down any baby food we have offered him. !

| Not the best picture, but this is his unassisted stand (for a brief moment) |
At 9 Months Finn has moved on from cruising the couches to pushing stuff around the house. He got a John Deer tractor to replace the pink stroller he had been pushing (wonder who gave him the tractor :) ) and he can really get around with it....until it hits the hardwood floor. Then it is a little too fast for Finn to handle! He also got another tooth this month for a total of 7 teeth. We are still waiting for that 8th tooth on the bottom to make its appearance. He sometimes will sleep through the night but isn't consistent just yet. That likely has to do with the double ear infection and punctured ear drum he had this month. Poor guy - it had to hurt, but he is so happy we had no idea he was even sick. He loves his naps and takes 2 really good naps a day. Mommy is lucky :)
At 9 months, Finn weighs 20 pounds! That is as big as Jordan and Lucy at 1 year old and Peyton at around 18 months (she was our little peanut). Finn is a chunk to hold and is very sturdy. We just love his little rolls on his legs.
