I can't believe summer is already over and the big girls are back in school. Jordan and Peyton were both so excited to go to school this year and counting down the days. Jordan got Mrs. Emrick and is excited to have a few friends from her first grade class with her. Peyton has Ms. Howard and has a friend from swim team and one from camp in class with her. Jason and I thought she would be nervous, but she proved us wrong. Jordan was so excited to help Peyton on the bus and help her find her class. Peyton is like a little celebrity at school all ready. Jordan has all of her friends telling Peyton hi whenever they pass her in the hall. They are lucky sisters to have each other there!

| We had a back to school party for some of Jordan and Peyton's friends. Here are the Kindergarten friends (and Lucy) with the annual bus cake. |
| Here's the whole crew - Kindergarten, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade. |
| Unfortunately, Jordan's first day was very rainy, but she didn't care. She says umbrella's are fancy (and Lucy loved jumping in puddles at the bus stop). |
| This is what happens in 2nd grade - you get on the bus and don't look back :( |
| Here's our big Kindergartener on her first day. She was seriously so excited. We haven't gotten a real smile like this out of her for a picture in a very long time. |
| No one was more excited than Jordan. She couldn't wait to get Peyton to school. It was so cute. Nice to see sisters so excited for each other. |
| Sisters waiting for the bus. |
| Daddy getting a big hug before the first day (this maybe brought a few tears from Mommy) |
| We got lucky and Lucy woke up right before the bus came. She is so sad for Peyton to go to school. She misses them both like crazy and isn't used to not having at least Peyton home with her. |
| And they're off to school. Peyton marched onto the bus like she's done it a million times.
| YAY! We got a wave from Peyton! She had a big smile on her face and brought a few tears to our eyes. We couldn't wait for the bus to bring her home to hear how her day went (according to her, "IT WAS AWESOME!") |
