Happy 7th Birthday Jordan!

Happy 7th Birthday Jordan!

Wow - it is so hard to believe 7 years has gone by since Jordan made us a family. She is so spunky, artistic, adventurous, and loves to write (and illustrate) stories. We couldn't be more proud of her.

She was lucky that her school had a records day the same week of her birthday so we took the opportunity to take her to Rock Quest for her first time climbing. She is a natural monkey, always climbing trees, scaling the playground equipment and so we thought this would be the perfect activity for her. She LOVED it and climbed all the way to the top over and over.
All hooked up and ready to climb!

On her way to the top!

She touched the ceiling! I wish you could tell how high this really is. It is so high. The girl has no fear.

Happy Birthday Jordan! Birthday pancakes (with sprinkles and whipped cream), birthday donut and the You Are Special Today plate - she had a great start to her day!
Mommy got to go have lunch with Jordan at school on her birthday. She was so surprised.

Jordan at recess with her friends on her birthday.

She has gotten pretty good at the stilts at school and was teaching her friends to do them.

Heading to ballet on her birthday!

Jordan had her party at the Mad Pottery - she loves to paint anything - especially pottery.

Birthday girl hard at work (with Peyton concentrating next to her)

Every elephant needs long eye lashes :)

They were a wild crew but had a fun time!

Jordan's 7 year interview. She is getting pretty good at writing and spelling. A week after we did this interview, she asked me if we could go back and answer the second to last question because she has an answer now (When I grow up, I want to marry…). She says she has thought a lot about it and she really wants to marry a boy named Leif in her class. Her face was just beaming. She has been talking about him non-stop. It's pretty cute watching her first real crush.
