Happy Half Birthday to LUCY!

Height: 32.5 inches (69%)

Weight: 23 pounds (56%)

Head: 33% (she is our first child to have a small head)

Lucy is officially 18 months old and is really turning into a toddler. She is walking and talking and playing with her sisters. She loves books and can sit down with a stack of them and just flip through pages. Lucy loves to say Bless You when you sneeze, Ready, Set, GO when she wants to jump in the water or swing on the swings, and Daddy! She will occasionally say Mama, but if you ask her to say Mommy she will look at you real serious and then say "Daddy." Lucy loves animals - she chases after dogs at the park, squeals at the animals at the zoo, and lays on Ella like she is a soft pillow. She also seems to love cleaning up which is great for all of us. She will put anything away that you ask her to (Jordan and Peyton are taking full advantage of this). She has had a blast this summer because she absolutely loves water. She can swim (with a life vest or swimmies) all over the pool or lake. She kicks her feet and moves her arms. We are amazed at how natural this is to her. She must learn from watching her sisters. She loves to jump in (and go under) and would probably go off the diving board if we let her (we haven't). 

We love our little Lucy Lou and can't wait to see what the next 6 months have in store for her.
