Jordan broke her arm a month ago, but none of us knew it for a whole week (we win parent of the year award for that one). She fell out of a bounce house at a birthday party and had a few tears, but was right back in the party playing with her friends before we knew it. Throughout the week she mentioned her arm her a few times, it was usually when we asked her to clean up, or make her bed, or something else she didt want to do. She was still coloring and writing with it and using it like normal so we thought she might of injured the muscle. It wasn't until she swam 4 laps at swim lessons that she said it hurt so bad and we decided to take her in to the doctor. It turns out she had 2 minor fractures (1 above and 1 below her elbow). Poor thing. She was a huge trooper and actually pretty proud of her cast. She wanted it to be just like Peyton's cast and ran home to check and make sure she remembered it right (yes - Peyton has her old cast proudly displayed in her room, and now Jordan has a matching one in hers). She couldn't wait to get to school and have all 22 kids in her class sign her cast. She was quite the celebrity in school and on the bus, and in ballet and girl scouts. She collected an entire cast full of signatures (in rather big font - a little crooked - and in super cute little hand writing).

| Jordan and I went out for a special lunch before we went to get the cast. Can't you tell its broken? The first thing she did when we sat down was color with it. |
 |
| Proudly displaying her brand new waterproof cast. It even had pink glitter on it. Notice her signature pen hanging on her shirt?!!! Always have to have it handy. You never know when someone might want to sign it. |
 |
| She tried to use her left hand for a while, but soon figured out she wasn't so bad with her right hand and mainly used that. It is pretty hard to keep Jordan away from a box of crayons. |

| YAY - it finally came off (3 weeks later). She was a little hesitant with the saw but then thought it tickled and laughed. She is back to normal now! |
