Happy 9 Months to Lucy!

Lucy celebrated her three quarter birthday the same week Peyton celebrated her half birthday. Peyton told everyone at school it was Lucy's birthday and they thought she was actually turning 1. She is so big that she can almost pull that off. We told Peyton that Lucy is really only 9 months and she asked if that was like a half birthday. We told her it was more like a three quarters birthday. Peyton proceeded to tell everyone the entire week that her little sister was three quarters old. It was pretty cute.

Lucy has grown leaps and bounds this month. She is officially around the 30th percentile in everything so has made huge strides from her less than 5% start. She loves to sit at the table with the whole family and eat all 3 meals with us. She is now only having 4 bottles a day and also started some finger foods this month. We keep looking for teeth, but her big smile is still all gums :) Mommy is especially happy about that.

Lucy has truly perfected the army crawl. We have never seen anyone army crawl quite like it. She is so fast and can almost keep up with her sisters as they race down the hall. She already remembers where the playroom is and will race down the hallway for it while Mommy is cooking dinner.

We just love how she is so happy and content all the time and her adorable (and loud) laugh. She thinks everything is hilarious, but especially her sisters and Ella. Her smile makes everyone around her smile including random strangers who see us in a store or out and about. We are so blessed to have such a happy baby and can't wait to see what the next "quarter" has in store for her.

Lucy's 9 Month Stats

Gotta love her big smile!

Look - she is getting more hair!

She's come a long way from the little peanut on this pillow in her newborn photos. Happy 9 Months Lucy!
