May the Force Be With You….and the Reds

Last Friday we took our first family outing to the Reds game as a family of five. It was a little chilly but we all braved the weather because it was Star Wars night! Daddy and Jordan had been looking forward to this night for a while, so the rest of us couldn't disappoint them. Daddy has been brainwashing Jordan into liking Star Wars. They have watched almost all of the movies, played with Daddy's old Star Wars figures and read Daddy's old Star Wars books. Jordan likes it so much now that she wants to be Princess Leia for Halloween (yes - she plans very far in advance. We'll see if this idea sticks come October). We all had a lot of fun at the game even though they lost and we all enjoyed the fireworks (even little Lucy made it through without crying).

So excited to go to the game!

Yes - cotton candy was a big reason they were excited to go to the game. Who doesn't like a huge stick of cotton candy?

Peyton LOVES cotton candy, but forgot how sticky she gets when eating it. She doesn't like being sticky so we went through a lot of baby wipes.

We were lucky enough to run into R2D2 right when we walked in. Jordan was especially excited about him.

We also ran into Darth Vader and Chewbacca on our way up the elevator (we can thank Lucy and her stroller for us being in the elevator in the first place). Jordan and Daddy couldn't wait to get a picture with them and ran right out of the elevator…..Peyton hid behind Mommy's leg. That Chewbacca is a little scary for Mommy, Peyton and Lucy.
Thanks Memaw and Bix for a fun Reds game!!!
