It's Gingerbread Time!

Jordan and Peyton are quite the little bakers. Jordan just loves rolling the dough and using the cookie cutters to cut it out. Peyton loves throwing flour on the floor and trying to get some dough in her mouth (you can tell who is easier to bake with right now)

Really getting into the mixing.

We had our annual gingerbread house party this weekend. The girls have been looking forward to it for a long time so were so excited it was finally time to decorate the houses (ok - they may have been excited to eat all of the candy).

Peyton's favorite part was eating the candy. She didn't get very far on her house and we eventually had to make her stop as she would only eat the candy or pick the candy off the house to eat. Hopefully next year she will decorate it for real.

Jordan decorated hers all by herself.

Apparently, this is the pose for Jordan - cheesy smile with candy cane in the air.

YAY! The kids with their houses. Seriously - how cute are these kids? So proud of all of their houses.

And now discussing what candy to eat :) (kind of the theme for the night)
The next morning we went to Great Wolf Lodge and ate dinner in a real life size gingerbread house. Jordan just couldn't believe it since we had just decorated one the night before.

Inside the gingerbread house. Jordan was so happy her name was not on the naughty list on the left.

Daddy and Peyton in the house

Oh my gosh - the flowers are lollipops.

Peyton couldn't believe it either.

Peeking out the gingerbread window.

Family Picture!

There was a show afterwards and Peyton fought through the crowd to find Jordan. It was so sweet when Jordan realized Peyton had found her.

So the finger in the air is Jordan's signature move...here she is dancing with her balloon penguin during the show. We have many pictures of her dancing in this same pose.
